Giveaway Rules/Guidelines/Disclosures

Giveaway Rules:

Every now and again I mistype something in my post. When I host giveaways the title of the blog post indicates, in general, which book/item is being given away. The post will also contain photos of and a blurb from the book itself (in most cases). If I make a mistake and put something different in the giveaway notification at the bottom of my post, you are still entering the giveaway as posted in the title. If you see a mistake, kindly notify me about it and I'll fix the post. I not obligated to supply any winners with anything other than the intended giveaway book, whether a typo or any other mistake is made anywhere in the post or not.

That being said, I send out a "Winner" email to each person giving them 24 hours to respond. In the subject line of the email I put what book it is that you've won. If you email me back, this is now a binding agreement--you agree that this is the book you signed up for, was chosen as the winner for, and will receive from myself, the blog tour promoter, or the author directly. Emailing me after the fact and telling me that you didn't receive what you signed up for is unacceptable. When you get the email and it lists a different book from what you thought you signed up for, notify me immediately in the form of a question. Questions get my attention better.

You may only enter each giveaway one time. Any additional entries will be discarded.

I randomly pick winners in whichever way I see fit. My decision is final and not open to discussion. (This usually means numbers on scraps of paper picked from a hat or the use of

Giveaway items are available at my discretion only! I reserve the right to withdraw or substitute the item at any time.

First and foremost--Anonymous entries will be discarded. Please make sure you put your name in when you leave a comment.

Always leave your email address in the post unless otherwise directed.

Giveaways featuring ebooks are generally going to be international--unless otherwise noted.

Giveaways featuring anything that I have to personally mail out will be confined to the U.S. --- I will decide at the time of the contest whether or not I will be able to ship the item to Alaska or Hawaii (although I don't think it will be a problem).

For giveaways provided by anyone other than myself, I will forward the winner's information; email address, physical mailing address, etc, to the generous donator of the item. I will not use the winner's information for anything other than to provide the giveaway to the winner or to pass on to the donator of the prize. Please note that I do not have control on time-frames of delivery of your prize when it's provided by 3rd parties. I am also not responsible for an item's non-arrival to you.

Sapphyria's Book Reviews is not responsible for postal delays, errors, lost packages, or information incorrectly provided to me.

I, as the blog owner of Sapphyria's Book Reviews, have the right to change any and all of the information, policies, guidelines, and/or rules listed on this page At Any Time.

In accordance with the FTC:

I am a recognized Amazon Associate. As such, the Amazon links on my blog (in the postings and along the outside edges) link back to my account. When you click these links and purchase the item I do receive a teeny, tiny percentage of the sale.

I am also a recognized Smashwords Associate. There will also be links to Smashwords on my blog. These, too, provide a small amount of compensation.

Please use the links within my blog and the postings to purchase books. The wee bit of compensation I receive will eventually help to fund bigger giveaways that I can provide to you.

I receive many, many, many books for review.  Books provided to me by publishers, authors, blog promoters, etc. are given to me at no cost, in exchange for an honest review

Please remember that the authors, blog tour promoters, and I offer freebies to you out of the generosity of our own hearts (and, of course, to spread the word about these awesome books) and we are not required to compensate anyone with anything, for anything, or because of anything.
